Little Garth is located in the centre of the village of Normanby on the main street opposite the church. The cottage is set back from the road behind a white gate between the signs for The Cottage (on the right) and Southill Cottage (on the left). As this is a concealed entrance, please take care when turning onto the main road.

From the North, take the A1(M) and exit at Thirsk. Take the A170 toward Scarborough for 21 miles. One mile after the Kirbymoorside roundabout take a right turn signposted Normanby 3 miles. Pass through the village of Marton before arriving in Normanby.

From the South, take the A1(M) and join the A64. Head northeast towards Scarborough. Exit the A64 onto the B1248 signposted Malton. Normanby is exactly 10 miles from here. In Malton take the second left turn, Victoria Road, (which comes up immediately after the first turn) and follow this to the T-junction. Turn left at the T-junction onto the B1257 signposted Helmsley. Follow the road through the villages of Broughton, Swinton and Amotherby. In Amortherby turn right, signposted Kirbymoorside. Follow the road to Great Baraugh. Turn left in Great Baraugh & follow the road through Brawby until you reach Normanby.
